The Ambassador, accompanied by the Economic Adviser and Director of Ubifrance, made a courtesy call to the headquarters of Technip in Kuala Lumpur.
She was received by its Director General for Malaysia and GM for Asia and Pacific, Mr Edgar Pushparatnam, and Mr Frédéric Baudeau, Director of Finance, who presented to her the long history of French companies’ presence in Malaysia (since 1982) as well as the latest development of its activities. Technip is one of the largest French companies in the region and is fast developing, confirming its commitment to long-term development of oil-gas sector in Malaysia.
