Both institutions have been working together for more than 5 years. Over this period, HELP has welcomed over 50 engineering and computer science students from Tours, who have performed a research internship or enrolled courses. In the meantime, teams from both sides have worked together in the domain of dataming, thanks to a research grant from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to the support of the Embassy of France. The new MOU should enable the launching of a Master in Business Intelligence by the end of 2008. The Master, already accredited by the French government, is currently under process to receive MQA authorisation. It aims at applying computer science and more specifically data mining to business.
