On the occasion of French National Day, a reception held at the Residence of France has gathered the French community as well as many well-known Malaysian and foreign figures.
Deputy Minister of Transport Tuan Jelaing Anak Mersat and Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs A Kohilan Pillay and Datuk Richard Riot were among the VIPs.

The French aeronautics sector is doing very well in spite of the crisis. This flagship sector of the economy is continuing to grow, proof of the solidity of its structures and the dynamism of its projects.

Dr. John Robertson is a retired consultant psychiatrist from Charing Cross Hospital Academic department in London, Chich is part of the Imperial College Medical School. He also served for several years in Britain's Royal Navy. He is a member of the Penang Heritage Trust.
Dr. Robertson gave a very successful presentation in 2004, organised by the Penang Heritage Trust. The subject was the sinking of the russian cruiser Zhemtchug by the German cruiser Emden in Penang Harbour on 28th Oct. (…)

FRENCH LANGUAGE WEEK 2010 IN KUALA LUMPUR
Celebrated every year world wide, the 15th edition of the French language week will take place in Kuala Lumpur from 20th to 25th March 2010.
