1-1 The Etudes en France mandatory application procedure

Since 2022, the national and mandatory Etudes en France (Study in France) platform has been set up by the Campus France Malaysia office. This process is mandatory for all students residing in Malaysia (including non-Malaysian nationals) wishing to go to France for studies. This process is mandatory before starting your student visa application process: you must check that your file is complete and has been validated by the Campus France Malaysia team before applying for your Visa.
CAREFUL: It takes about 1 week to get processed on the Etudes en France platform, then a mandatory 2 weeks review period for your student visa application once you have had your first appointment. Please plan ahead.

There are 2 scenarios:

1 - Prospective students (I am applying to a public French university or institution that requires an application through the Etudes en France platform):

STEPS TO FOLLOW:
 Sign in to the Etudes en France application and create an account with a valid email address.
 Enter your personal information and add the scan of your documents (“supporting documents”).
 Complete your Training Basket by selecting programmes and universities. Explain your motivations.
 Submit your file to Campus France by clicking on “I submit my file”.
 Once submitted, Campus France will verify his file and send the details concerning the payment of the administrative fees (750 MYR).
 After the payment of the fees, you will be invited to an interview with a Campus France Officer.
 After the interview, the application procedure is finished.
 Once you get your acceptation letter from the university, you can apply for your student visa with the French Consulate.

CALENDAR
1st of October 2023 : the application campaign opens
15th of December 2023 : deadline to apply for a 1st year of Bachelor in a public university
15th of February 2024 : deadline to apply for a 2nd or 3rd year of Bachelor, or for a 1st or 2nd year of Master
15th of March 2024 : deadline for the review of your file and your interview with Campus France Malaysia
30th of April : deadline for the review of your file by your future institution

2- Admitted students (I have already received my acceptance letter/I have been accepted to an exchange program)
If you have been accepted in an institution not connected to the platform and have already received your acceptance letter, you can log into the platform and follow the instructions.
If you are part of an exchange program: once you receive your acceptance letter to the exchange program, you can register on the platform.

 Sign in to the Etudes en France application and create an account with a valid email address.
 Proceed with the “I am already accepted option”
 Enter your personal information and add the scan of your documents (“supporting documents“).
 Submit your file to Campus France by clicking on “I submit my file”.
 Once submitted, Campus France will verify his file and send the details concerning the payment of the administrative fees (750 MYR).
 After the payment of the fees, you will be invited to an interview with a Campus France Officer.
 After the interview, the application procedure is finished.
 Once you get your acceptation letter from the university, you can apply for your student visa with the French Consulate.

CALENDAR
There is no deadline for the “I am already accepted” procedure students, as their application can be processed throughout the year.
The Campus France Malaysia office, in charge of the procedure, can assist you in case of a technical issue throughout the procedure.
